Transit Division Developing New Plan to Improve Public Transportation

PREMO service to be built from rider feedback

Transit Division is developing a Premium Mobility Plan (PREMO) in an effort to provide enhanced transit services for County residents and visitors. The plan is in the process of development and is expected to launch at the end of 2022 defining a series of premium transit projects, that are frequent, modern, convenient, attractive, safe and reliable.

A crucial element of the plan’s success is input from riders to understand the community’s mobility needs for future transit options. Residents and visitors alike are encouraged to take the survey to provide feedback as the plan is developed. There is also a PREMO interactive map designed to allow residents to provide direct comments and suggestions on frequently-traveled roads in the County.

The PREMO program is funded by MAP Broward, formerly known as the Penny for Transportation Surtax to enhance transportation countywide. For new and updated information about PREMO visit our dedicated website for this project.
