The Town of Davie is extending the restaurant participation submission period for its annual Veterans Voucher Program. Davie restaurants interested in participating in this program are encouraged to fill out the application by Monday, Oct.10, 2022.

The program will provide one $25 meal voucher to 125 eligible Davie veterans for them to dine at a participating Davie restaurant. Vouchers will have no cash value and alcoholic beverages will not be covered by the program. Veterans and restaurants taking part in the program will be notified of the timeframe to redeem the vouchers.

Restaurants interested in participating must meet the following requirements:

  • Must be located within the Town of Davie
  • Possess a valid Business Tax Receipt (BTR)
  • Hold no outstanding code fines, liens or active cases

To apply, qualifying restaurants can fill out the Restaurant Participation Form. Town staff will review the restaurant’s information before they are accepted into the program.

Participating restaurants are asked to contribute $5 per voucher, with the Town contributing $20. Restaurants will be reimbursed for redeemed vouchers the week immediately following the conclusion of the voucher program.

The Town looks forward to collaborating with community restaurants to honor our veterans. For more information about the program, visit www.davie-fl.gov/VeteransVoucherProgram or contact Chad Pezoldt at cpezoldt@davie-fl.gov or 954-797-1151.
