Of the 1,934,551 citizens living in Broward County in 2021, 78.8% were old enough to vote, equating to 1,523,466 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 739,114 were male, constituting 48.5%, and 784,352 were female, making up 51.5%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Broward County during 2021 was lower than the state average, which stands at 80%.
