100% of funds raised support cancer research at Cleveland Clinic; registration fees reduced through March 31 for routes 25 miles or longer
VeloSano Bike to Cure will take place Sept. 8 and 9, 2023. VeloSano is a global fundraising movement for hope and action, created to swiftly enable the cancer treatments of today and the cures of tomorrow through innovative, transformative research happening at Cleveland Clinic locations around the world.
Registration is now open for Bike to Cure, the annual flagship fundraising event where 100% of dollars raised supports lifesaving cancer research. The public can register to participate at velosano.org.
Bike to Cure weekend will include a Kickoff Party on Friday, Sept. 8, that will celebrate togetherness, support Living Hope cancer survivors and patients, honor legacies and cheer the progress being made in cancer research at Cleveland Clinic. Food, beverages, music and festivities will be offered on Mall B in downtown Cleveland.
Saturday, Sept. 9, is ride day. Available route distances are 25, 50, 75 and 100 miles. Through March 31, participants can save $25 on registration fees for routes 25 miles or longer. Those who register as virtual fundraisers can choose their own activity and participate in any way, anytime, and anywhere to fundraise for cancer research at Cleveland Clinic.
Ideal for families and beginner riders is the Guardians City Loop, a 6-mile loop around downtown Cleveland that will be open for two hours, allowing participants to complete one or two loops. Guardians City Loop riders will pass city landmarks and have the opportunity to ride around Progressive Field.
Since its inception in 2014, $37 million has been raised for VeloSano. Thanks to funding from partners, like founding partners the Kohl Fund and the Cleveland Guardians, all operational expenses incurred by the VeloSano initiative are offset to ensure that 100% of all dollars raised supports the cause.
