Plan Ahead for the St. Patrick's Parade and Festival

The City of Fort Lauderdale's St. Patrick's Parade & Festival is coming to the beach! Come out for the fun and festivities, and be sure to plan accordingly. There are road closures scheduled for March 10 and 11.  

Las Olas Boulevard will be closed between A1A and Seabreeze Boulevard from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. on Friday, March 10, for street striping. 

The northbound lanes of A1A will be closed between Harbor Drive and Vistamar Street from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 11 for the parade. The southbound lanes of Seabreeze Boulevard will be temporarily converted into one northbound lane and one southbound lane 

Parade Route
• The parade will begin at Terramar Street and end at E. Las Olas Boulevard.
• The parade will travel southbound in the closed northbound lanes of A1A. 

Vehicles Traveling on A1A Northbound
• Northbound A1A traffic will be narrowed into one lane and begin to be diverted into one of the southbound Seabreeze Boulevard lanes just north of Harbor Drive.
• Traffic will continue northbound on Birch Road until directed eastbound on Vistamar Street.
• At the intersection of Vistamar Street and A1A, northbound traffic will reenter the northbound lanes of A1A. 

Vehicles Traveling on Seabreeze Boulevard Southbound
• At Vistamar Street, westbound traffic will be diverted onto one of the southbound Birch Road lanes.
• Traffic will continue southbound on Birch Road.
• The westernmost lane of southbound Seabreeze Boulevard will remain one southbound traffic from Seabreeze Boulevard to Harbor Drive. 

Vehicles Traveling Eastbound on E. Las Olas Boulevard
• During the detour, eastbound E. Las Olas Boulevard between Seabreeze Boulevard and A1A/Fort Lauderdale Beach Boulevard will be closed.
• At Seabreeze Boulevard, all eastbound traffic will be detoured from E. Las Olas Boulevard to southbound Seabreeze Boulevard.
• Eastbound traffic on E. Las Olas Boulevard wishing to travel northbound should turn right (southbound) on Las Olas Circle and follow it to Birch Road, turning left (northbound) on Birch Road.
