Oakland Park Assistant City Manager, Jennifer Frastai, has accepted a position as the Senior Director, Operations & Programs for the Anti-Defamation League (ADL). ADL is the leading anti-hate organization in the world. The organization's mission is to stop the defamation of the Jewish people and to secure justice and fair treatment for all.
Mrs. Frastai started with the City of Oakland Park in 2017 as the Engineering and Community Development Director. She became Assistant City Manager in 2019. Her last day with the City of Oakland Park will be December 22nd, 2022.
"Jennifer brought a degree of passion and professionalism to her time in Oakland Park, making these eight square miles of South Florida a brighter and kinder place than before she arrived," said City Manager David Hebert. "I am confident that her new position will open new vistas for her to achieve great things on a grand scale and allow Jennifer to continue her quest to make our world a better place," Hebert continued.
As Senior Director of Operations, Mrs. Frastai will coordinate ADL's projects across the organization's regional offices and promote innovation and data-driven success.
Before Oakland Park, Jennifer was at the City of Hallandale Beach, where she started as Deputy City Attorney, then became the City Manager Administrator and Deputy City Manager. Before local government, Jennifer was the Assistant State Attorney in the Miami-Dade Attorney's Office.
