Sewer Pipe Survey in Harbor Beach

The City of Fort Lauderdale and Insituform Technologies, LLC will be inspecting a sewer main within the Harbor Beach neighborhood. The line, which measures between 8 and 12 inches in diameter, runs along E Lake Drive, River Lane, Haskins Avenue, A1A / Seabreeze Boulevard / SE 17 Street, Mayan Drive, and S Ocean Drive. Crews will record video within the pipe to document its condition. The information gained through this assessment will be used to schedule future maintenance and rehabilitation activities with the goal of increasing the reliability of the sewer system.

This work is expected to begin on Monday, December 5, 2022, and be completed by Wednesday, December 21, 2022. Work will take place Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

Traffic Impacts

  • One lane in each direction of A1A within the project limits may be closed during work hours while crews access the sewer pipe from various manholes within the road.
  • Access to driveways will be maintained. Please follow posted signs and drive with caution in the area.
We apologize in advance for any inconvenience and thank our neighbors for their continued patience as we work to upgrade our sewer system as quickly as possible.
