All speakers can now register online
The County is launching a new and improved way to register to speak at Commission meetings at the Governmental Center in Fort Lauderdale.
This new method is an all-digital sign-up. Members of the community wishing to speak on a particular agenda item can fill out an online form. Required information on the form includes the speaker name, phone number and number of the agenda item. Speakers must also indicate if they are registered lobbyists, speaking on behalf of an organization, or will only be in attendance to answer questions. An online form must be completed for each item.
There will also be a QR code posted in various locations inside and outside the Commission Chambers to register on a mobile device. No registrations are permitted after an item has been called.
All speakers must appear in person beginning September 8th.
Regular Commission Meeting Agendas are posted to the website before each meeting. Broward County streams meetings live on Twitter and YouTube and on Broward.org.
Anyone having trouble registering digitally can get help in County Administration on the 4th floor.
