Back-to-School Career Fair Takes Place Friday, July 29

Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) is hosting a Back-to-School Career Fair on Friday, July 29, 2022, to help fill approximately 1,300 job openings across the District, including teachers, classroom/teacher assistants, counselors, bus drivers, security staff, custodians, food service workers and other positions.

The Back-to-School Career Fair provides opportunities to meet with school principals and human resources recruiters to discover the many career paths available in BCPS. Qualified candidates may be hired on the spot and offered immediate positions.

The Back-to-School Career Fair takes place at Western High School, 1200 S.W. 136th Avenue, Davie, Florida 33325.

 All attendees are required to register online at bcps.kaseleads.com/summercareerfair-july. They should also:

  • Bring multiple copies of their resume.
  • Prepare a list of questions to ask principals, supervisors and human resources staff.
  • Be ready to discuss their specific career path interests.

School representatives will conduct interviews for school-based positions during the following times: 

  • Middle and High Schools: 8 – 11 a.m.
  • Elementary Schools: Noon – 3 p.m.
  • Non-traditional schools: Times vary throughout the day based on the grade level vacancies.
Representatives from Student Transportation; Food Service; and Safety, Security and Emergency Preparedness will be available to meet with attendees from 8 a.m. – 3 p.m.
