Lauderdale-by-the-Sea home prices rose in the first half of 2022

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2022 in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea rose by $62,500 while total sales decreased by 19.9 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June, there were 229 homes sold, with a median sale price of $575,000 - a 12.2 percent increase over the $512,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 286 homes sold in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea in the first half of 2021.

The median sales tax in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $5,183, approximately 0.9 percent of the median home sale price for the first half of 2022.
