Q2: Home prices in Tamarac increased

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2022 in Tamarac rose by $27,000 while total sales increased by 2.2 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June, there were 691 homes sold, with a median sale price of $252,000 - a 12 percent increase over the $225,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 676 homes sold in Tamarac in the second quarter of 2021.

The median sales tax in Tamarac for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $1,953, approximately 0.8 percent of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2022.
