May: Home prices in Fort Lauderdale (unincorporated) increased

The median sale price of a home sold in May in Fort Lauderdale (unincorporated) rose by $70,000 while total sales increased by 4.8 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

In May, there were 22 homes sold, with a median sale price of $325,000 - a 27.5 percent increase over the $255,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 21 homes sold in Fort Lauderdale (unincorporated) in May 2021.

The median sales tax in Fort Lauderdale (unincorporated) for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $1,663, approximately 0.5 percent of the median home sale price for May.
