May: Plantation experienced a 28.9% increase in median home prices

The median sale price of a home sold in May in Plantation rose by $101,000 while total sales decreased by 24.9 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

In May, there were 148 homes sold, with a median sale price of $450,000 - a 28.9 percent increase over the $349,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 197 homes sold in Plantation in May 2021.

The median sales tax in Plantation for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $2,956, approximately 0.7 percent of the median home sale price for May.
