Lauderdale-by-the-Sea home prices rose in April

The median sale price of a home sold in April in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea rose by $40,000 while total sales decreased by 14 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

In April, there were 37 homes sold, with a median sale price of $550,000 - a 7.8 percent increase over the $510,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 43 homes sold in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea in April 2021.

The median sales tax in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $5,183, approximately 0.9 percent of the median home sale price for April.
