City of Oakland Park recently issued the following announcement.
Broward County is accepting applications for home improvements including hurricane hardening, minor home repair, water-sewer connection, and special needs rehab for income-
eligible homeowners in communities served by Broward County Housing Finance & Community Redevelopment Division. Click here to access a screening form to verify eligibility.
Participating homeowners must sign a deferred payment forgivable mortgage and note (0% interest, no monthly payments, 10-year term), which will be forgiven if the homeowners
continue to use their property as the primary residence during the entire 10-year loan. The application period will remain open while funds are available. Click here to visit the
