City of Lauderhill recently issued the following announcement.
Pitch competitors can win cash prizes for their Lauderhill Business with a grand prize of $25,000.
The City of Lauderhill Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) is announcing their inaugural “Business Expo and Pitch Competition.” This educational event is designed to
inspire, teach, and equip entrepreneurs with tools to elevate their business.
The Inaugural “Business Expo and Pitch Competition” will take place at the Lauderhill Performing Arts Center on March 16th, 2022 from 1:30 pm to 6:00 pm. The event
includes networking opportunities, panel discussions, and a Shark Tank-style pitch competition with ABC Shark Tank’s very own businessman, investor, author, and motivational
speaker – Daymond John! Participants will compete for a chance at monetary prizes for first, second, and third place. There will also be a fan favorite winner. All winners will
receive free technical assistance to grow their business.*
How to Participate:
Sponsors - If you would like join the event as a sponsor, please complete our sponsorship form and submit via email.
Pitch Competitors – If you are a Lauderhill business (or are willing to relocate your business to Lauderhill) and would like to apply for the pitch competition, view the application on
the CRA’s website. *Deadline to submit your application is February 13th, 2022 by 11:59 pm*
Expo Attendees – There is limited availability for this free event and pre-registration is required. If you are interested in attending, please register at our Eventbrite page.
VIP Cocktail and Network Reception – This event offers one-on-one interactions with sponsors, staff, and panelists. Tickets are priced at $50/each and pre-registration is
