Dani Correa - Women's Soccer
In just her seventh career game, Correa recorded her first career hat trick, as NSU defeated Florida Southern 3-2 on Saturday to pick up its first win in SSC play. Correa scored all three goals by the 63rd minute, and in doing so, became the first NSU player to register a hat trick in SSC play since Hannah Christophe accomplished the feat on Oct. 28, 2016 at Lynn. Entering the match, FSC had allowed just four goals in six games. Correa also tallied an assist in the Sharks' road matchup at Lynn this past Wednesday.
Milos Christoforou - Men's Soccer
On the road, and with the score knotted at 1-1 late in the 83rd minute, Christoforou struck twice within a span of 5:38 to lift the ninth-ranked Sharks to an eventual 3-1 victory over Florida Southern. Christoforou's two goals and four points were both single-game, career highs. Christoforou owns a share of the team lead in goals, and also ranks tied for fourth in the SSC.
Madison Cook - Volleyball
Riding the second longest winning streak in NSU Volleyball program history, Cook led the Sharks on the road for two pivotal Sunshine State Conference match-ups last week against Eckerd and Saint Leo. Cook recorded 41 assists, placing her fifth in the SSC with 276 and added four service aces as Nova Southeastern swept both matches. Cook earned her second career Sunshine State Conference Setter of the Week honor for the performances.
