Town of Davie recently issued the following announcement.
The Town of Davie’s Procurement Division was awarded the 26th Annual Achievement of Excellence in Procurement® (AEP) for 2021 from the National Procurement Institute, Inc. (NPI). This award honors the division’s commitment to procurement excellence for public best practices.
Earned by public and non-profit agencies, the Town of Davie was one of 182 agencies in the United States and Canada and one of 64 municipalities to receive the award. Davie received the AEP award for the first time in 2020 and was honored again on August 10, 2021.

The AEP program recognizes procurement organizations that embrace innovation, professionalism, productivity, leadership, and e-procurement. The continuously evolving award criteria are designed to measure and provide benchmarks for procurement service quality.
