City of Coconut Creek issued the following announcement on Nov. 13
New Mortgage Assistance: Homeowners affected by COVID may apply for up to 10 months assistance to pay delinquent mortgage payments, association dues and/or utility bills. Eligible homeowners must have a current homestead exemption on homesteaded residences in eligible Broward cities, with household income at or below 140% of the Area Median Income, and have been impacted by COVID. The application, eligibility guidelines and application instructions are located at https://www.broward.org/housing/Pages/Default.aspx.
Due to State expenditure deadlines, complete applications must be received no later than Tuesday, December 11, 2020. Assistance is on a first come, first qualified, first served basis, until available funds are expended.
