Roadway Infrastructure Inventory Underway Through December 1

0Comments

Through December 1, Jacobs Engineering Group is conducting an inventory of existing City roadway infrastructure and documenting its condition. The information gained from this assessment will be used to guide operations and maintenance activities and help the City plan for future capital improvement projects.

The vehicle pictured below is traveling throughout City streets, as well as along County and State roads within City limits, to capture data with a focus on street curbs, drainage swales, alleyways, and sidewalks using street level imagery and LiDAR elevation survey technology. The LiDAR sensor and cameras automatically blur faces, auto license plates, and doors similar to how Google street view works.

We thank you for your patience while the Jacobs team performs this important work.
