0Comments

Polk State Nursing has implemented an important prerequisite for admission into the program which takes effect for the upcoming application period from August 15 through August 31 for the program’s general track. Applicants will need to have successfully completed Anatomy & Physiology II or be registered for the course to apply for admission to the Polk State Nursing Program. Enrollment for A&P II is open for the Fall 2022 Semester.

Applicants should also note changes to the Assessment Technologies Institute (ATI) Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS). ATI has transitioned to a new version of the test – TEAS 7. Polk State Nursing will be accepting the TEAS 6 and/or TEAS 7 scores for the upcoming application period. The scores must still follow current guidelines, which include no more than three attempts in a 365-day period and at least 30 days between attempts.

Nursing is a limited-admission program, and each applicant must first be admitted to Polk State and meet pre-admission requirements. More information about the Polk State admission process is available at www.polk.edu/admission-aid. More information about the Nursing Program, including access to the online application when it opens on August 15, is available at www.polk.edu/nursing.
