October is Adopt a Shelter Dog month

0Comments

Make a little room in your heart and your home for a new pet this month. October is Adopt a Shelter Dog month, sponsored by the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA).

As part of this initiative, Broward County Animal Care is waiving all adoption fees for dogs and cats, and will provide a pet wellness voucher valued at $150 to all adopters. The voucher is for use at Animal Care’s Pet Care Clinic for services like vaccinations, preventative treatments and microchips and is valid for up to two years. View Adoptable Dogs

Animal Care works hard to provide care for more than 100 dogs at its facility, but there’s nothing like the warmth and stability of a family. Also, even though October is Adopt a Shelter Dog month, there are still many cats that could use your help too. Visit Animal Care at 2400 SW 42 Street in Fort Lauderdale, to adopt a pet this month.
