Mayor Veronica Edwards Phillips announced on May 4 that the next edition of “Moments with the Mayor” will feature Broward County Commissioner Hazelle P. Rogers as a special guest. The event is scheduled for May 28 at 6:30 PM and will be held virtually via Zoom.
The discussion, titled “Thirty Years in Retrospect: Looking Towards the Future,” aims to highlight Commissioner Rogers’ leadership over three decades, her influence throughout Broward County, and her outlook moving forward. Residents are invited to participate by submitting questions in advance or joining the live session online.
According to the announcement, “This session will reflect on Commissioner Rogers’ decades of leadership, her impact across Broward County, and her vision for the future. Residents are encouraged to tune in, learn, and engage.” The event is part of an ongoing series designed to connect residents with local leaders and address important community topics.
