Mayor Veronica Edwards Phillips will visit the Cypress Chase North neighborhood as part of the Mayor’s Community Engagement Walk, according to a May 4 announcement from the City of Lauderdale Lakes.
The event is intended to give residents an opportunity to speak directly with the mayor about their concerns and ideas. The city said this initiative allows for meaningful conversations between local government and residents, aiming to address issues that matter most in the community.
During the walk, which will take place on May 16 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Mayor Phillips plans to go door-to-door meeting with residents. The city encourages participants to ask questions and share feedback during these interactions.
The event will be held in Cypress Chase North. According to the city, this is part of ongoing efforts to build stronger connections between officials and citizens in what they refer to as the “We Care” City.
Residents are invited by city officials not only to attend but also contribute their thoughts as Lauderdale Lakes continues its focus on community engagement.
