The City of Lauderdale Lakes announced on Apr. 20 that it will hold a community garage sale at Vincent Torres Memorial Park on Saturday, May 2, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
The event aims to bring together residents and local vendors, providing an opportunity for people to shop, sell items, and connect with neighbors in an outdoor setting.
Sponsored by Commissioner Karlene Maxwell-Williams, the Women of Veteran Affairs Garage Sale is open to the public. Vendor spaces are available for $25 each. The city encourages both residents and small businesses to participate by selling household goods or unique items.
The garage sale will take place at Vincent Torres Memorial Park located at 4331 NW 36th Street in Lauderdale Lakes. Organizers say the event is designed as a way for the community to come together and support one another while offering a range of products for attendees.
Those interested in reserving a vendor space or seeking more information can call (954) 496-4815.
