The Florida Panthers will conclude their four-game road trip this week with three matchups in Canada, following a 6-2 loss to the Seattle Kraken, according to a March 16 update from the team. The Panthers are set to face the Vancouver Canucks on Tuesday at 10 p.m. Eastern Time, before traveling to Alberta for back-to-back games against the Edmonton Oilers and Calgary Flames on Thursday and Friday.

The outcome of these games is significant as the Panthers currently hold a 33-30-3 record and sit 11 points behind the Detroit Red Wings for the second wild card spot in the Eastern Conference. Eetu Luostarinen said after Sunday’s loss, “I think we want to play the exact way, and we don’t want to lose that. Even if it’s not our year, we still have to keep doing that and carry it over for next year.”

Fans can watch or listen to all three games through various television stations including WSFL, WHDT, WFTX, and streaming platforms such as PanthersPlus.TV. Radio coverage will be available on several local stations as well as through the Panthers GameDay App and SiriusXM.

The team also announced that Sam Reinhart, who leads in goals (29), points (61), power play goals (11), and shorthanded goals (3), will not travel with the team due to multiple ongoing issues. Head coach Paul Maurice said, “It’s more than one thing he’s been dealing with.” Reinhart recently scored an overtime winner against Columbus but will miss this stretch of away games.

Rookie defenseman Mike Benning has made his NHL debut during this period. Sam Bennett commented on Benning’s performance: “He looked great all night. He looked like he belonged.” Benning has averaged over 17 minutes of ice time per game so far.

In addition to game action, fans are invited to join an official watch party at Geronimos in Davie for Thursday’s matchup against Edmonton. The organization is also hosting its second annual Cat’s Cup Street Hockey Tournament at Amerant Bank Arena on March 21 and 22.

Looking ahead, group ticket packages remain available for upcoming home events at Amerant Bank Arena. The club is also promoting sweepstakes opportunities and digital offerings such as a quarter season pass via Panthers Plus and discounts through their GameDay App.
