Broward County’s Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) is scheduling routine maintenance of the North and South Runways that will require overnight closures. The temporary closure is necessary to conduct ancillary work and “rubber removal” to the runways.

  • The North Runway (10L/28R) will close Wednesday, April 5 – Friday, April 7, from 12:01 a.m. to 5:30 a.m. daily. During this period, all arriving and departing flights will use the South Runway.
  • The South Runway (10R/28L) will close Sunday, April 9 – Wednesday, April 12, from 11 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. daily. During this period, all arriving and departing flights will use the North Runway.
