The Sunshine State Conference announced the Players of the Week for the week of March 20 – 26, on Monday afternoon. Nova Southeastern Sharks student-athlete Ellen Andersson (Women’s Golf) earned honors following her performance this past week.
Nova Southeastern Sunshine State Conference Players of the Week awards are presented by Courtyard Marriott.
Andersson is honored as Golfer of the Week for the second time in 2022-23 after winning the Buccaneer Invitational at Miami Shores Country Club in Miami Shores, Florida. The Swede bested a field of 68 golfers, finishing even following rounds of 70-66-77. With the play of Andersson, NSU won this year’s event against a 12-team field by 19 strokes.
