Work to begin January 23

Highway and Bridge Maintenance Division will be performing drainage pipe cleaning and video inspection with drainage rehabilitation on NW 19th Street between NW 31st Avenue and Powerline Road in Fort Lauderdale beginning January 23, 2023 (see attached map). The project is expected to conclude on or before June 2023, barring any unforeseen conditions and/or weather delays.

During construction, one lane along NW 19th Street will be closed to vehicular traffic between 9AM and 4PM. Access to businesses and sidewalks along the corridor will be maintained. Variable message signs will be posted to advise motorists and pedestrians of changes.
