The capacity to care for more patients at Cleveland Clinic Florida Weston Hospital grew by 12 percent on December 13, 2022 with the addition of 28 beds to the 5th floor of the hospital’s bed tower.  That brings the hospital’s total bed capacity to 258.

At a Ribbon Cutting attended by hospital board members, administrators, Weston Mayor Margaret Brown, community leaders and care givers, Cleveland Clinic marked the opening of the addition to its fifth floor bed tower.  The beds are in new rooms that provide greater access to patients in need of complex care.

The apportionment of the 28 added beds is as follows:

  • sixteen beds  will be for intensive care;
  • twelve beds will be for telemetry and intermediate care services
