Broward College Proposes Modification of Some Standardized Testing Fees

0Comments

Broward College has announced proposed changes to some of its standardized testing fees. The recommendation follows an extensive review of the fees already in place by the College. New fees will be used to purchase items, equipment and remote services that are specifically related to the administration and score reporting of exams. They may also be used to support the salaries of personnel of the testing and assessment centers where the exams are administered. Please click here to view the new fee structure.

The proposed changes will be presented to the Broward College Board of Trustees at its meeting on Tuesday, September 27, scheduled to begin at 1:00 p.m. at the Willis Holcombe Downtown Center.

Florida Statute 1009.23(20)(a) grants authority to the Florida College System Institutional Board of Trustees to establish laboratory fees that “shall not exceed the cost of service provided and shall only be charged to persons receiving the service.”

A copy of the agenda will be available here on September 20, 2022.
