Asphalt Improvements in Melrose Manors

The City of Fort Lauderdale and The Middlesex Corporation will be performing roadway improvements on SW 11 Court and SW 10 Street between SW 27 Avenue and SW 28 Avenue that will extend the life of the asphalt surface and provide a better ride for drivers. Crews will be using innovative methods to make these improvements. To learn about the materials being used, visit ftlcity.info/roadsoup. The work that’s being completed as part of this project includes:

  • asphalt repairs on sections of SW 11 Court
  • cleaning both SW 11 Court and SW 10 Street
  • applying an asphalt rejuvenator on SW 11 Court and SW 10 Street

This work is expected to take place on Saturday, December 3 and Saturday, December 10 between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Traffic Impacts

  • SW 11 Court will be closed between SW 27 Avenue and SW 28 Avenue on Saturday, December 3, 2022, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. while crews perform the asphalt repairs. Access to driveways will be limited during this time.
  • SW 11 Court and SW 10 Street will be closed between SW 27 Avenue and SW 28 Avenue on Saturday, December 10, 2022, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. while crews apply the asphalt rejuvenator. Driveways will not be accessible during this operation. The contractor is arranging alternative parking for neighbors who are affected by this work.
